What I know to be true is that there is no one ‘yoga’. Yoga is the unique direct experience you have as you become more aware of your feelings, thoughts, breath and movement and consciously bring them into harmony and balance. To do this takes much practice, and even more patience. I have found that a little insight can make the journey more enjoyable and less treacherous! We are all blessed to live in a time where the knowledge of those who have explored this path before us is both accessible and plentiful. But do not be misguided…’yoga’ is not inside these books, it is inside you. Read them, enjoy them, wrestle with them. You can be certain that we will do this together over the course of our training!

"Bringing my yoga practice to this program has richly enhanced my path to becoming a fuller being."
-Kristin F
I am so grateful…This has been an amazing opportunity for me
to develop a better understanding of what yoga is all about and to
delve more deeply into the many aspects of yoga -- the physical poses,
breathing practices, meditation techniques, and philosophy. I have
really enjoyed being part of our supportive and fun group of students
and teachers, and I feel my practice growing and changing with each
passing month.
--Suzanne K
Inspired teaching, incredibly well organized information, presented
in an accessible, meaningful, passionate way. The work is
transformative. Love it!!!

"By the end of the yoga retreat weekend I felt completely peaceful
and at ease. I'd forgotten what it was like to feel that good.
Studying yoga … has helped me become more graceful and has
awakened my heart and mind to a deeper, richer way of living. I am
continually amazed at the discoveries I'm making in my mind, body and
spirit as a result.
--Jana D.
This teacher-training program has been a blessing and an
honor…The space created for yogis is caring, supportive and one
that embraces a sense of belonging. I feel empowered by this
comprehensive teacher-training program and can’t wait to start
teaching!
--Stacey P
This program is provided by a dedicated instructor whose heart is open to assist in walking the path of enlightenment. The yoga is just a bonus--a healthy body in a healthy mind.
--Gail R
I can't imagine training in any other program.
--Carol W
I began this teacher training course thinking “I want to own my yoga practice,” which to me meant becoming skilled in my asana. It meant wisely developing and incorporating specific poses into my daily routine.
Just halfway through the course and my yoga vision has radically shifted. Yes, I still want to own my yoga practice; and yes, I am far more skilled in my poses. However, my eyes have been opened to a deeper understanding of what yoga is and who I am in relation to it… I am gaining a deeper, heartfelt awareness of my mind, my body, and my breath. I am discovering what it means to sustain a stable inner core that I might utilize for myself and radiate outward for others. I am finding camaraderie among my classmates, whom I expect to know a lifetime. Finally, I realize that should I ever want to teach, I am being trained to do so.
For me, this course has beautified the possibilities on that fabulous journey called life!
